Powder Pumps Certain materials, such as diatomaceous earth are difficult to convey using conventional methods. The Pow-Air™ powder pump was developed to handle free flowing, light density products. This powder pump takes its design from diaphragm operated liquid pumps, but differs significantly in its details. The units are built as single or double diaphragm units and are driven by electric motors or compressed air. A typical system includes a positive displacement blower to provide aeration air and supplemental conveying air on longer distance systems. Pacific Pneumatics, Inc.
